The world of art in interior design is more than just decoration—it's a powerful tool for conveying emotion, setting a mood, and elevating the overall aesthetic of a space. With a passion for curating spaces that inspire, Kim Layne Interiors design team consists of accomplished artists who have a unique eye for how fine art fits it a client's personal space and aesthetic. We also work with local galleries and artists to bring distinctive, thought-provoking works into their designs. By seamlessly integrating art, we ensure that each project reflects an elevated aesthetic experience, turning every space into a vibrant, gallery-like setting where creativity and life thrives.

We find that connecting with artists is a powerful way to bridge the gap between creativity and the designs we create. Lauren Williams is one of the artists we have loved featuring. Through her use of color, texture and form, she creates sculptural fiber art that speaks to our connection with each other, and to nature.

Two of the vibrant art scenes Kim Layne Interiors draws inspiration from as we design homes, are Denver, Colorado, and Melrose Avenue in California.

Denver has become a vibrant hub for contemporary art, with its numerous galleries showcasing diverse works from local and international artists. Walker Fine Art, and K Contemporary, are two galleries we love. They both offer unique and diverse collections. Walker Fine Art offers a sophisticated selection of works, blending innovative and traditional styles while emphasizing cutting-edge contemporary art. K Contemporary, known for its bold exhibitions, features both emerging and established artists, creating a space that sparks conversation and challenges artistic boundaries.

Melrose Avenue in California is another iconic destination for art lovers. Known for its trendy boutiques and eclectic galleries, Melrose has long been a hotspot for contemporary art, where urban street art meets high-end galleries, creating an ever-evolving, dynamic scene.
